/usage-credits

Configures usage credits or requests them from your admin.

Manages additional usage credits that let you keep working beyond the regular plan limit, or requests them from your own admin. Requires being logged in with the claude.ai subscription via /login; the command isn't available with API key authentication. What the call opens depends on the role: On Pro and Max, as well as for Team/Enterprise members with billing access, /usage-credits opens the respective billing page in the browser. Team and Enterprise members without billing access instead confirm directly in the CLI, in a dialog, that a request is being sent to the organization's admins (since version 2.1.211; before that, without this confirmation step). If no browser can be opened, for example over SSH, the command has output the URL to visit instead since version 2.1.205. Separately: if a spending limit is set on Pro/Max and it's reached despite available credits, Claude Code asks directly in the running session whether the limit should be raised or removed. Distinct from /usage, which only shows consumption so far and plan limits but doesn't manage credits.
